This is a good topic to discuss as I think a lot of people are wondering about it these days.

Substack is much easier to both post and emails with than Wordpress or even Ghost.

But the bigger question is how does someone manage getting email signups on two platforms - ie a Mailchimp plus Substack? Do people ever move over subscribers between the two?

Yes, you are right. How I do this: I have two email lists that I do not transfer between platforms. Instead, I point to the other platform in each list and promote my content between the two. But it´s also possible to import subscribers from your website by tagging them so that you only import subscribers who are interested in Substack.
